I like you already, Maji. Lumi nodded reassuringly. He laid his head down slightly on her neck as he shut his eyes. Forget what? He finally asked even as she put her paw on his muzzle, his speech coming across as somewhat muffled because of it as it came as a confused whine to the handlers. Val in the mean time gave an amused snicker What do I get out of not telling Minnie, hmm? You called me old lady before. I don’t take kindly to those things. The golden tawny huffed while stretching out, her gaze lingered past Xerxes and at the tent with Ulf and Vale, she could hear them talking in their strange human language and wanted to know what they were doing.

Ulf shook his head “I don’t even know what you see in -me-, dear.” He grumbled, at the mentioning of a ‘girl to girl’ talk with his sister he perked a brow. “Why?” He grumbled, questioning why Vale would need to talk to Saffy. His expression turning slightly sour at the mentioning of Cael being ‘lucky’. “I do wish she could have waited a bit with finding someone.” He huffed, obviously seeing his sister as a little girl still. “Both of my sisters are gone, Vale… And now even my cousin has found some strange posh guy with neon hair and uuurgh, I don’t like it.” He groaned in an almost childish manner at the last part.

The female brown curly blinked yet again and stared at the albino’s face even with her paw on it. You did it again. You’re just telling me that to make me feel better. She told him in a rather low tone as she was still rather shocked to hear from him that he likes her. But why??

Xerxes tilted his head at the golden tawny. Nothing? because there is nothing to tell Minnie. And even if you did tell Minnie there is nothing wrong in what I have done. He told her in a an asserting manner. He did not wish for Minnie to misunderstand things because he loves her very much and will be very heartbroken to see her leave.

Vale mustered up all of her strength to sit up and straddle Ulf. She cupped her tiny hands on his face and give him a deep kiss before pulling away. “Relax! You are worrying too much!” She chuckled. “Exactly why. I just...love you because you are you.” She whispered, brushing her thumb against his rather rough skin and moustache. Exhaustion and stress had made him age fairly quick. She shook her head and maybe just have a talk with Saffy and he can have a talk with Cael later on. “ Tell me, why do you dislike my brother for your sister so much? I am quite curious.” Cael had never shown any dislike of him being her husband and perhaps Saffy too.

Why shouldn’t I? Although you are quite.. flirty, you seem like a nice enough lady. Lumi spoke, seeming thoughtful. Beautiful, smart and with the sweetest smile. He leaned in to press his nose to hers. Unfortunately you won't believe me regardless of what I say.

Val stretched out with a rather bored expression Poor, poor girl. I’m not sure what she sees in you but fine. I shall keep it our little secret, but insult me again and the dam will break. Do we have an agreement? The golden tawny threatened while baring her teeth in a dominant manner while raising her tail. She would soon calm as she receives an odd look from Saffy and instead chose to stretch out.

Ulf drew a deep breath “You have no idea how many sleepless nights Saffy has had over your brother.” He finally scoffed with a grumble, even as she straddles his lap he only placed a hand on her hip and gave her a more ashamed look. “Recently I cannot justify my dislike for your brother in a way you will still see me in a positive light… I…” He shook his head slightly, he had to admit to himself that it was jealousy. Jealousy of the family Cael now had with Saffy and one he never got to have himself. He drew a deep breath “Perhaps you would like to go talk to Saffy now.” He grumbled as he attempted to set her aside carefully. “SAFFY!” He called out as he left the tent. Almost instantly the woman’s head would peek in just as Ulf left the tent and he muttered in a low tone “I’m going for a walk. Make sure Vale doesn’t hurt herself and that -you- don’t do anything stupid.” He scoffed but only got a nod in response. Saffy slipped into the tent shortly after and sat herself in front of Vale while crossing her legs. “Sooooo… He’s still a grouch?”

BECAUSE….. She huffed and perked a brow instead. It all sounds...unbelievably impossible although it is lovely BUT yes...it’s so fast! She blinked and felt her whole body heat up at his words. Why is he doing thissssss. She whined inside and she would heat up some more when he pressed his nose against hers. She froze in place. Xerxes tilted his head some more at Val. What secret? There is no secret lady. But I do have one question for you. Why do you despise to be called an old lady? Isn’t that old ladies are intelligent? He asked in an innocent manner of course.

Vale tilted her head as she gazed at Ulf. She did not quite understand why Saffy would be having sleepless nights because of Cael. She chose to listen instead and let him speak first. She hushed him after the words that had followed. “I still see you the same, love and I still love you the same.” She whispered and would appear to be a bit saddened when he shifts her aside. Although she might know why he’s being like this. She stayed quiet and seated inside the tent and watched him leave. She gave Saffy a smile with which it would contain a bit of sadness. She sighed. “As usual. He probably still hates me of what happened last time.” She shrugged and rested her chin on her palm instead.

Lumi gave an amused chuckle, the first expression of emotion on his features in the past few days. I had to give a few days to see if I liked you. You would after all be my first mate. His ears dropped slightly, he knew that Maji had pups in the past and he still knew nothing of rearing them. But I do wish to be there for you. If you will allow me that is. Val on the other hand became quite bitter It means I am losing my beauty and will end up dog food. Not exactly a desired outcome to life. She huffed as she stretched out again and shut her cold eyes to ignore Xerxes. Now leave me be, I wish to rest. She scoffed grumpily in a dismissive tone.

Saffy studied Vale closely “I don't think so. He was heartbroken, yes. But I think he’s more scared of losing you.” She spoke honestly, shifting closer to her friend to give her a hug. “How are you then? I heard a tiny bit about how you wanted to talk to me.” She let go of Vale slightly to instead face her and study her features, obviously willing to listen to her friend and sister in law.
